While all of the gentiles (or goyim) are celebrating a holiday where all the gifts are opened at once — after being delivered through the chimney by an overweight icon in a red suit — I’ll be lighting a candle and opening one gift a night, starting Tuesday night at sundown. The sale of gently used holiday decorations held recently by the Friends of the Pender County Library was declared  “a great success in every way” by fundraising chair Ann Thur. So much so that, “we are now collecting for next year’s sale,” said Thur. As you put up decorations this year, you might find items you are ready to pass on now by bringing them to the library.”
The sale, which raised more than 800 dollars to benefit the public library in Burgaw, generated enthusiastic support from the public. Items included …
